    I was just wondering why you use pineapple slices and cut them into chunks instead of just using pineapple chunks or tidbits?

      Good question. Pineapple chunks are too large for the texture of this salad. I find it’s easier to cut through a stack of pineapple slices than cut the chunks in half. Tidbits are the perfect size but can be hard to find. They usually aren’t offered in 8-oz cans so you avoid buying extra pineapple. But if you can find tidbits, they are the perfect size.
